Prices rise in the spring and decline in the fall/winter, if you're not in a rush you'll likely be able to snag a better deal towards the end of summer.

I haven't had this issue, but my best guess as to a fix would be to pull the tank off and replace the rubber tape in the spots where the tank rests on the frame. It'll cost you maybe $5 at lowes.

Yesterday, I was at my school working on a group project and during a 5 minute break I decided to ride up to gas station to get a pop. I left all my gear behind and rode up there in a t-shirt and jeans. It was glorious and felt so good. An added bonus was the car full of girls at the pump who cat called me as I got off the bike. Myrtle Beach, we host a bike week twice a year(as well as black bike week) so there are plenty of cruisers and sport bikes around here. However, with no helmet laws and the warm weather, most people don't wear gear. I rock helmet, gloves, and jacket year round on a cruiser so it could be why I get less waves. I could look like a new rider to them, which I kind of am.
