It's from a skit on SNL--'The Real Housewives of Disney'

Reddit, I want to take my S/O on a cross-country (US) trip before we begin our careers. Do you have any planning advice? What cities and sites do you recommend? by ziepsin AskReddit

I completely agree. I've never been there myself, but some of my favorite middle/high school bands originated in Austin.

Majored in Environmental Engineering, currently looking for a job--preferably within the RTP or Charlotte area.

Hey! When is the next meetup? by yangxin NCSU

[–]zieps 1 point2 points ago

I've been hiding in Mann Hall for the past 3 months! Sorry for dropping the ball on planning another meet-up this semester...If the interest is high enough, I'd definitely be up for planning another outing somewhere for r/NCSU?

Where is your favorite place to volunteer? by triangleraleighin triangle

[–]zieps 4 points5 points ago

I've done some trail clean-up work at the Eno River State Park in Durham (I believe a group also does regular trail clean-up in Umstead Park in Raleigh/Cary)

It can get to be very physically demanding, but I've met some great people during the days I've volunteered.

Hey r/gaming, I'm new to PC gaming and am allowing myself $40 to spend on Steam games. What games/combo of games would you recommend? by ziepsin gaming

[–]zieps[S] 1 point2 points ago

Seriously? That would be absolutely fantastic! I've played earlier Fallout games before and really liked the tone of the game. Story-focused games are also a plus in my book.

You sure you wouldn't mind simply giving away a copy?

Thank you so much! Minecraft is a necessity, Dead Island looks great, may have to purchase that in the near future if I don't do it now.

I've played through Portal in its entirety, but I've yet to touch Portal 2, so that may have to be a purchase. I enjoy some shooters, but I'm not a big fan of COD-esque shooters. I'll have to look at From Dust; I've heard the name before but never did any research on it. I'm a big fan of games with large worlds (sandbox games, I guess?)

Great deal! I'll definitely take this into consideration.

I've gone ahead and grabbed a copy of Team Fortress 2--no online play yet (I'm a complete noob), but the game seems really fun.

Honestly I wouldn't want to tie myself down to any specific genre, but I tend to go for more open world games. I've played games like Borderlands and friends' houses before and thought they were pretty great. I'm a big fan of the Elder Scrolls series (I have Morrowind and Oblivion for the Xbox) but I'm patiently waiting for Skyrim to fall back in price.

I thought U-Haul had figured something out that the rest of the world hadn't quite grasped yet. One can hope, right?

Pretty sure these super graphics have been around since the late 80s/early 90s. I distinctly remember seeing them when I first moved to NC when I was 4 years old (1994).
