You're me, bro. You have a somewhat dry sense of humor and sometimes you're hilarious and other times you're a dick? The solution is to shut up more, just in general, talk less. Also consider what you're saying and how the people around you will feel when you say something. I know it sounds stupid cause you're just trying to kick it or whatever, but this will help you be considered less of an ass, in my experience.
