When I was younger, my uncle was always, in my mind, this badass delinquent himself. One day in the backyard at my grandmothers house there was one of those huge green beetles flying around near us in the backyard (those clumsy ones that always hit the wall, and buzz loud as heck). It buzzed right up near my uncle reached out and swatted it out of the air with his hand. I thought this was pretty badass. Well, one day at school in 6th grade during lunch, one of these beetles started buzzing around annoying some people, and I thought I'd try to be the badass in front of them. I swatted the thing right out of the air and into some unfortunate girls...the assistant principal immediately called me out over the bullhorn and embarrassed me in front of my friends for doing that. I had to go over and apologize to the girls. From hero to zero in no time at all...
