You can play the campaign offline, but the real issue is they disabled LAN so big tournaments are exposed to lag and disconnections.

Same here. And I'm terrified of heights and the feeling of falling (rollercoaster drops scare the crap out of me - I go into some sort of strange fetal position during drops). I honestly don't know if I'd have the balls to jump even though burning to death is probably much much more painful.
