Usually the tape is in the duplicator. There will be a spot that says "original" around it usually. This means you've already recorded the audio onto the cassette. We usually do that by making plugging a male to stereo cable from our computer to our tape deck. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah I actually just won a bid on a cheap duplicator on ebay. We'll see if it works. I have crazy duplicator envy ours is one to one. Can't believe you found that on craigslist!

check out rainbo records. best pricing i've found in my travels. we're recording at the local universities studio via an acquaintance who is doing audio engineering there. good way to keep costs down.
