Good news, everyone! Demon's Souls servers are here to stay! by Accipehocin demonssouls

I had suspected that this would end up being the case. They are so awesome for supporting their fans and customers in this way. I hope they just keep making Souls games forever.

Cars have day time running lights to attract attention cause it works. On a bike you are way smaller. Do you run your lights in the day time? by sleeptypingin bicycling

Has it occurred to you that you can practice all of the same awareness measures you currently do, and use lights, helmet, reflective clothing, etc?

Being terrified of someone running you down is a great excuse to ride safely. You can keep that same mentality without being reckless just for the sake of it.

I'm wondering if you drive. I've come across many "ninjas" like you driving to work in the dark and on more than a few occasions my fast reflexes literally SAVED some idiot's life. Regardless of how safe you think you ride, a driver is much more likely to ruin your day if he has no idea you're there.

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to contribute with this comment, but the downvotes are deserved.

Trust me, they are. Even if they aren't doing much in terms of illumination, they key is that they are moving; and a moving light attracts the human eye like nobody's business.

I've seen flashing and solid bike lights in my mirror when in my car. Granted, I do look in my mirrors. But it can also help with cars that are about to turn across your path (left hook) who otherwise would have been ignorant to your presence.

Wow man... that's terrible. I never met him and yet I'm incredibly sad. What a tragedy.

Let's all be respectful please and save the debates for another time.

Just watched 12 Angry Men (1957) for the second time. No explosions, no car chases, just 90 mins of truly captivating acting and dialogue in one room by MrPrestigein movies

[–]wickedcold 0 points1 point ago

Not really a fair or direct comparison, but I finally watched Moneyball last night and I kind of had the same sort of thought. No special effects, lots of tense dialog and incredible acting. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was intense and fantastic, as was the guy playing head scout for the A's (Ken Medlock).

I was also pleasantly surprised by Jonah Hill.

Good news: Breaking Bad returns July 15. Bad news: They're breaking up the season into 8 episodes this summer, 8 NEXT summer. by whatevrmnin entertainment

The sort of shows that have only 10 or 12 episodes tend to have much higher quality episodes without bullshit filler stories dragging it out. I'll take 10 Game of Thrones over 20 House episodes any day.

I've used a lot of laundromats and I've never seen one like that. Not that I'm doubting their existence.

It's a washer, and it locks so that you can't open it and dump several gallons of water on the floor.

Personally I don't really like the idea of people being respectful because they fear getting shot. It's like people helping others because they thing God wants them to and they think that's how you get into heaven. Fuck that, I do it because I'm a nice guy.

People should be cool to each other "just because". If it's because they're afraid of catching the wrath of an overly twitchy person with a gun, it's not genuine.

Do you rate shit constantly? I find it works terrific, but I've had netflix for 10 years and have rated several hundred titles.
