luchr65, I've been thinking that this throat pain thing is what I must deal with in order to get tougher in my throat. I'm not convinced it will happen.

I'd take 20 bruises any day over what my throat feels like right now. It feels like a sore throat with a lump in it. Every time I swallow I get reminded of how stupid I am.... It sucks! Oh yea...

We were practicing the high collar two handed choke and the paper cutter. Then I got caught in a rear naked choke and I fought it for about 5 seconds (big mistake). I'm not a small person at six foot 230 pounds and I was sparring against another dude who is the same weight and power as me. We beat the sh*t out of each other. I think the BJJ guys will understand what I'm saying here.

God help me if I complain to the wife. I never hear the end of it. She thinks I get hurt because I enjoy it.. F THAT..

Yep.. Israfel and Opsomath nailed it. When I'm there I'm VERY intense.. I fight like hell when I'm in the choke. I need to chill.... I should accept the beating sooner.
