I would encourage people to a) upvote this post and b) take it seriously, because even if this is a troll, it is an issue that I think should be addressed: how to react to someone who disapproves of the deconversion of a loved one. I've never seen that dealt with here.

Because if I relapse, it won't be because of temptation from my porn stash. I'm not NoFapping to break an addiction, I'm doing it as an exercise in habit changing, and resetting my libido. After 90 days, I'll probably want to go back to it.

I've been fap free for 5 days and... I don't feel anything. No real urge to fap. Not grumpy. Sure, I've thought about it in passing (usually when I'm in the shower or other situations when I'm nearly naked) but I just say "no fapping" and that's the end of it.

I've gone a week without fapping before (not on purpose, just didn't feel any impulse to fap).

Is it really that hard for some people to go a week without fapping?

Yes, there will be an increased chance of image retention in the first couple of months. You will see it. You will promptly freak out and tell everyone who will listen that your plasma TV is ruined, RUINED!!!

Then it will disappear and you will wonder wtf you were even worried about.

That said, I would advise you to run the TV in THX or Movie mode exclusively for at least the first few months. For the love of all that is good, stay the fuck away from Vivid mode.

The reason you were able to view those high definition channels by plugging your cable line into the TV is because your cable company was broadcasting those channels unencrypted, a process called 'ClearQAM'. The FCC requires cable companies do this for all channels that are available using an antenna (the one exception to this rule is for Cablevision in Brooklyn NY.) That doesn't mean you get them for free, however; you still have to subscribe to a TV package from your cable provider in order to receive those channels over the cable line.

If you recently lost access to those channels over the cable line (and you have an active cable tv subscription) try doing a channel rescan on your TV.

There is no way to correlate hard disk size with whether it has HDMI or not. Hard drives can be detached and replaced.

Just ask the guy on craigslist if it has HDMI or not.

Edit: That said, the 60GB Xbox 360 models all had HDMI at release.
