Piracetam? by flagshipcomplexin ADHD

[–]tonetonitony 0 points1 point ago

I took Adderall a number of years ago. While they also increased my productivity, it was done in a much different way. It felt unnatural to me, like I just drank a gallon of coffee, whereas with Piracetam I don't feel under the influence of anything. Also I believe the Piracetam is actually making me just a bit smarter or more creative. Even with the Adderall, I would always fall just short of being able to complete a creative project. Not with Piracetam, though.

I just started using Piracetam. It's amazing because I don't feel like I'm on anything. I was almost ready to stop taking it, but over the past few days, my songwriting has become 10 times more productive. Before I would work on a song for about 15-20 minutes, gradually losing more and more feeling as time went on. Over the past 3 days, I could take a song and work on it for as long as I wanted and stay focused for the entire work period. This would take usually no more than an hour and a half. I'd either finish the song, or my hands would start to ache from playing.

I've heard the effects die down after a couple weeks in a few cases. I'm going to make the most of it in the meantime and hope for the best.

Check out r/nootropics for more info on Piracetam.

Well, I appreciate the textbook recommendation. A text from a 100 or 200 level course would probably be ideal for my purposes.

Thank you. This is exactly the information I was looking for.

"Drug cocktail" is a term used by doctors. It's just another way of saying a combination of prescriptions.

The key things you want to look for are receptor affinities, active metabolites, absorption kinetics, and co-indications.

I have no idea what any of these things are. This is the information I'm seeking.

I didn't mean to indicate that I'm self-medicating. I'm trying to get more information so that I can play a more active role in deciding what prescriptions I receive.

How to get the Jack White solo tone by doktorgonzoin Guitar

The Micro Amp makes a big difference too. I recently got an MXR 10-band eq which I use in a similar fashion. It really thickens the tone.

I could be wrong, but I think there is an octave effect from his Digitech Whammy pedal in the first clip. (Can anyone confirm this?) He and Jonny both use this pedal to get robotic-y shrieks. You can spot Jack using it a lot in other videos.

I have a good doctor. My only problem with him, as well as most of the doctors I've seen, is their seemingly carefree approach to prescribing. I believe that the patient should have close to as much information as the doctor does when choosing a prescription. At the very least it gives me a comforting sense of control in this process.

There's another point in the article where he states he's in the same class as Paganini and Hendrix.

I think he was trying to separate himself from punk artists by stating that he cares about his art, while punks don't give a shit. I never got this impression of punk artists, though. I think a lot of punk music is deceptively simple sounding. While most 1st year guitarists don't have any trouble playing through a Ramones song, only a well-skilled guitarist can play them with the authority that Johnny did. You certainly have to care and work hard to reach that level of talent.

Would you say these would be easier to play than a set of these? They have lighter gauges (30-50-70-90) but aren't flatwound.

I'm trying to choose an antipsychotic. I previously went through about a year of drug trials that were a total pain in the ass. I'd like some clear and concise drug information, without a lot of misinformation. Do you know of anything like that?

Scroll down to number 5. The article doesn't give you a clear answer of what you should do, but it will point out some of the risks involved and some precautions you can take when importing drugs.
