Dude, I was there in week one check in. I gained 6lbs! But I was determined and got to 4 lbs below my start weight for week 2 check in, and tomorrow morning I'll report another loss im sure. I have the same problem with the bad stretches, I used to try to stop them completely, but I'm learning that its more sensible to try and shorten them (at least in terms of binging on food). Good luck for next week! I'll look for ya.

Ok, so here's what I found about weight loss trends. So in the beginning you really should lose a little water weight if you change your diet even just a little. But then on the reg (and im looking at my fitday readout here) I get four days of losing(if im eating right) and then it slows for two days, and then it drops again. A lot of it feels like it has to do with water, so i guess the lesson i learned was to stay away from salt along with how the diet works, and to accurately measure my calories. There was a NEJM article about how we underestimate our calories by 30% when logging, so I would guess that your 1200 may be a lot higher if you arent carefully logging all of the items. I suggest FitDay, its really amazing (if you stick with it) and can objectify literally everything you do. Short answer? Its your diet.
