Letters to Robin: Phlogistinator OP? by LuckyLukeTF2in tf2

The soldier's rockets will also do damage to the soldier at close range. Either way, the phlog does over 400 dps while critting.

i do find it amusing that ppl complain so much about the 90% damage reduction, but yet seem perfectly ok with DR having that more or less on demand AND making spy invisible.

The DR doesn't heal the spy.

Yes, and before CSS, a particular element's presentation was defined by attributes in its tag.

First time for me: A Carcassonne board with no holes! by belylein boardgames

[–]timewarp 1 point2 points ago

It is, the goal is to acquire as many points as you can by the end. Every turn, each player places a tile, and you get points by claiming cities, roads, fields, and cloisters. To claim something, you need to place your token on it, the catch being that you can only place your token on something unclaimed. Due to the nature of the expanding board, previously unconnected areas usually become connected somehow, and in that case the area goes to whomever has the most tokens on the area.

It's no worse than people paying absurd sums of money for shiny rings and sparkly rocks.

Buff Banner also provides AoE mini-crits instead of just giving the soldier crit rockets. It also doesn't heal the soldier.

Well sure, people first started selling them for $2.49, but then someone started selling them at $2.48 so that people go to him first, and so on. And who said anything about the probability changing?

Say you buy 20 keys, and then uncrate a really nice unusual with your first one. Now you've already made a net profit, and the odds are that you aren't going to get another hat with the rest of your keys, so how can you make more money with them? Sell them at $1.50 a pop.

Easy fix: Up the damage required for the taunt to 600, similar to the Buff Banner.

You've got about a third of a second to do so, while your view is covered in flames. And this is assuming the pyro just ran at you from the front. It's certainly possible, but it isn't nearly as easy as you make it seem.

If you don't mind the slowdown, the Skullcutter is a good choice. Other than that, the stock bottle or pan should be fine.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how is making content tailored to an audience 'manipulating' that audience?
