This is done to make sure the page is not being called by some external process as a way to circumvent security built into the application as a whole. Not bad code, just security.

I uploaded it to vimeo here, but it's going to take 34 minutes to convert. (Check back :)

How much did your daughter weigh when she was born ? Sam was 3 lbs. 3 ounces (1.44 kg)

Edit: Video should work now.

Our daughter was born under almost the exact same circumstances. 8 weeks early, we had nothing ready - I mean NOTHING. No crib, no diapers, no room, and BAM...here's your baby. She spent 6 weeks in the hospital, which killed us, but gave us time to prep everything at home.

Here is a video I made for her: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLjDHt6YEuI&feature=youtu.be

My only regret is that I have but 1 downvote to give.

I don't make anywhere near $100K running my Drop-ship website. I started about a year ago and I'm not in the black. I've learned a lot, and I'm still learning. AMA by timekillerjayin IAmA

[–]timekillerjay[S] 0 points1 point ago

That's a very loaded question. How long it takes to learn is completely dependent on the person. Web development in general takes a lot, but ecommerce takes even more. You have to learn about credit card gateways, SSL certificates, etc etc. I would not recommend a person with no development skills try to throw up an online store as your first project.

You can't skimp on the website. A cheap looking website with a bad user experience will drive away all potential customers before they even see your products. For a person with no development experience, this will probably be one of your biggest expenses. Find a developer you can trust.

taxation and nexus by Rooftop_Triceratopsin dropship

[–]timekillerjay 1 point2 points ago

The "right" answer is that you are supposed to collect taxes based on the location of the customer. Since you are taking their billing/shipping information, you know where they are and can charge tax appropriately. Most shopping carts will allow you to configure this. Basically, if you can a presence in the same state as the customer, you are supposed to charge tax, and pay that back to the state. In my case, I am located in NJ, so I charge 7% sales tax on any sales to customers in NJ. Then I pay that back every quarter.

I'm a developer, so creating the website was no problem. Finding the provider was up to google. My criteria was adult toy dropshipper with a proper API so I could automate things

Yes, but 37 is the number people remember. That's why Kevin Smith has it on his hockey jersey. 36 is most likely a coincidence.

That's because Fleshlight is one of the manufacturers that requires a Minimum Advertised Price. I am not allowed to advertise a price lower than Fleshlight's. Notice the "Buy Discounted" link on all Fleshlights. If you login, you will see my "Member Discount" Price which is roughly 20% lower. I can't show that price if I want to keep Fleshlights on my site, so I skate around it by making you login. Unfortunate, but necessary.

And just to get the obvious out of the way - I am not harvesting emails. I hate spam as much as anybody else. If you do not check the newsletter box when creating an account, you will never get a bulk email from me, and your email address never leaves my server.
