If they really wanted to fix the problem they would have fired the employee to show a zero tolerance policy for package mishandling. This guy busted a computer, and still has his job ? If I threw a computer at work, I sure as shit wouldn't have a job anymore.

Moving this guy to a different department tells the other drivers, "go ahead and break shit, we still have a place for you."

I understand sometimes shit happens, but when you have video of the driver chucking the package, he doesn't deserve his job. Give it to somebody who will appreciate it.

Just thought I'd throw this out there. I am using MythTV for my frontend. Before anyone says it - yes, it's overkill. MythTV is meant for TV/Video viewing. I know.

That said, once it's installed and working, it's completely UI driven. No mouse required (that's kinda a big deal). everything I do is controlled by the 1Player joystick. I have 2 arcade buttons setup to select/exit games (mapped o Enter and Esc). Here is what my setup looks like: http://timekiller.org/xmame

I've tried to get dedicated mame/xmame GUIs to work, but they all seem to heavily rely on the mouse. MythTV gives me a purely menu driven system, which is nice.

I don't understand why everybody doesn't just use usenet. Sure, it's not completely free, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper that anything else. With SSL, what you download is nobodies business but yours. Index sites like newzbin and nzbmatrix make it a snap to find what you are looking for.

Add in programs likes SABnzbd, sickbeard, and couch potato and you don't have to think about anything.

Make sure you have access to port 135 on the Exchange server (try telneting to it)

telnet [exchange ip] 135

Exchange listens on port 135 and then tells the connecting client which port to really connect on (dynamic).

On a side note. Evolution is the most glorious piece of crap mail client I have ever seen. It is PAINFULLY slow, especially when connecting to Exchange. I tried setting it up just yesterday (hadn't tried it in a while, figured I'd see if t was any better). After 2 hours of waiting for it to finish loading my email, it FINALLY let me read some messages before locking the whole thing up again while it rescanned. It's truly pathetic.

If your company has IMAP turned on I highly recomment Mozilla Thunderbird. You can use thunderbird to connect to IMAP to read your email, then install the lightning thunderbird extension for calendaring. And "Provider for Microsoft Exchange" will allow you to import your calendar and gives you the ability to accept/decline meeting invites.

Finally, you can use LDAP to do GAL (Address book) lookups. It will even auto-complete emails when you start typing a new email.
