Nice..the irony is that that is the only place where people are even responding. /sigh..I need to work on my pitch.

How about looking for places in Visitacion valley? Would that be a good idea? Its kind of close to the bayshore caltrain station. I guess it is not in walking distance from most of the cool places in the city but are there any other things I should worry about?

Has anyone looked at 1080folsom.com? The prices look good but the whole hippie communish feel is kind of weird?

What exactly does one do when one has no pay stubs? I am fresh out of school!

Yep. I don't mind getting a nice car. However, a car means that you get stuck in suburbs. Since if you ever move to SF, the car what with the conditions of traffic, becomes redundant and expensive to keep.

I did an internship in MV last summer and believe me I know exactly what you are talking about. The place is a wasteland, once you have explored Castro St. , there is only so much you can do without a car. Once you get a car, moving to SF becomes hard.

So the only problem is that the idea of lugging a bike around is not very appealing (My office is castro and is pretty close to Caltrain). The only alternative then for me is to try to live closer to either 4th and King or the 22nd street station. However, that would mean in 1) North East chunk of Mission 2) South of market. 3) Mission bay. 4) Potrero hill. Are any of these nice places to live in?

I like the sublet idea a lot. I think I need to feel my way through the city and that would probably be the best way of doing that. Thanks!
