I don't tend to really bother going out on Mothers day because its so upsetting and I just am in an awful, bitchy mood, which makes me feel even worse because I'm otherwise shrugs sweetheart.

I don't know what to say, to maybe make you feel better. My mom drugged the fuck out of me to make me easier to manage, took me to bars, beat the fuck out of me, left me alone too long, dropped me off at a family members house when I was two and just didn't come back. She never called or visited. I thought she was dead until I was 17 and found her and soon after pushed her back out of my life because of the awful, sociopathic things she said to me. I was raised in foster care, always baffled by mothers day and loving mothers.

It always bothered me, until my caseworker told me: no family is without dysfunction-- some have more than others. So I'll pass that on to you, and hope you'll remember that. It might be terribly hard to not be angry with your own family dynamics, but you're obviously not alone. Stay positive!
