Vision abilities in the game, abilities that only grant vision, are treated just like skill shots.

It's a Windows thing. The -t option with no number means keep pinging until you send a SIGINT.

It's not illegal. It could be viewed as abuse by Facebook. They could go so far at to delete your account. If a bunch of people did this at the same time they could claim it's a "DDoS" which is illegal. I doubt Facebook would have much of a case and I am not worried about it. If anyone from Facebook is concerned please contact me and I will remove these posts.

So, this is a short program written in bash. It's not compiled. To run it you just need the bash interpreter.

Did you try it? I did not get throttled or blocked. I'd imagine most people would run out of inodes first.

Anywhere that has bash and an internet connection.

Anyone know why my Network.player.ipAddress is always '0.0.0.0'? by smoochieboochiesin Unity3D

[–]thedonkdonk 1 point2 points ago

0.0.0.0:25000 means it's listing to any IP address you have on your server on port 25000. This is a good thing.

I cannot connect from any of my client devices on the same (local) network using the server's IPv4 address.

I would guess you have a firewall in the way. Check this guide out. It's for Linux but the same concepts apply. You would want to try connecting via telnet from your client device:

telnet 192.168.x.x 25000

Assuming your application creates a TCP socket. On Windows, you can see your open ports with:

netstat -noa | more

Good luck. Reply if you have more questions. I don't know anything about Unity but I do know a lot about servers.

INTPs, what do you do for a living? by kenny_knpin INTP

I don't have any college education. Other than not able to work government jobs, this has not affected me at all.

Well, I posted my resume because some people want to actually see what a "Linux system engineer" is. Also, I not under a false impression that I have anonymity on the Internet. I don't go around making people mad or posting anything inappropriate.

I'm a Linux system engineer. Resume for the curious.

I work from home. It's a rare day I leave the house. Also, it's a perfect job for me because I am not creative in the typical sense. I don't make things. However, I am creative about fixing things. Aanalytic problem solving is all I do. Love it.

I also like it because computers give error messages. I can figure that out. People usually don't give error messages.

Also, make sure you have roll back scripts. If you push out a revision, make sure you can roll it back.

My friend thinks she can "cure" me from being an introvert by pressuring me to spend a lot of time in large crowds with her. Anyone else experience this kind of thing? by benedictishiiin introvert

[–]thedonkdonk 1 point2 points ago

I've tried to do this my self. I'm more comfortable in crows but I am still an introvert. Like everyone else said, what's to fix.
