The colors were supplied in the background. I painted the background using the Graffiti feature in Photo App. Here's a way to expand the color palette:

Download this image using your 3DS internet browser: http://i.imgur.com/DUTbw.png, it will be saved as a photo.
Edit this image via the Grafitti app, use the Eye Dropper tool to 'sample' the color within the color palette. Your pen will adopt that color and enable you to draw/paint with any color you want.

I don't think there's a way to export swapnote creations out to a .jpg file, would like to know too if there is.

It's the snowflake stationery. Just use swapnote a lot, then you will be able to 'buy' these statios with coins (the coins you get from pedometer).

I've been going crazy looking all over the net for this Wally West Flash villain, but he is called The Blur. He's also a speedster but he is clad in blue, also he appears to fade in and out of sight faster than Flash, so he kinda looks like a 'blur'. He was featured in a one-shot paperback (author escapes me at the moment, it could be 'Time Flies', but I am not sure).

Anyway, in the story, this dude is always one step ahead of Flash, and seems to be faster, because he has the ability to go forward a few seconds in time. I like the concept and possiblities for this character, and I sorta wish a writer would see him and bring him back from obscurity.

Just list everything that's wrong and they will fix it. they might end up sending you back a brand new one that looked like it was fresh out of the box. most likely as what other have experienced, you'll get a refurbished one that looks very new.

Also if you're a 3DS ambassador and or made purchases on the eshop/have left over eshop credit make sure you write that capitalized in big bold letters so they see this. also remove and keep your current SD card and the stylus before sending it in as they will not return these to you.

this background is done entirely from Graffiti in the Photo app. In this case, I drew the foreground first, then went back to Graffiti in the Photo app to paint the background and introduce colors. Then you just slap them together in Swapnotes. Synching the foreground and background took a lot of trial and error and clumsy going back and forth from Swapnote to Photo app unfortunately, I can't find any other way at the moment.

Graffiti has only 3 color to choose from (black, red, blue), but the gray can come from using the Emboss/Engrave effect in the Graffiti. I heard there's a way to create multi-color palette in Graffiti app, the other alternative is importing artwork from Art Academy (which I haven't done yet).

yes. I like these type of stationeries, pretty generic. the newer ones that came out felt like promotional items and pretty useless (even if zelda's in it.)

Okay, the premise: I'm exploring what's possible with current swapnote right now, especially if one is inclined to draw. I'm trying to go beyond the ink limit and looking to see if colors will work. Of course they're personal drawings, and of course they are related to 3DS.

But, no, I'm not planning to spam art here, but I think what I'll post is a few that could be noteworthy. If you don't get it, well nothing's lost. At least this subreddit's got a few wall decorations here and there.

In the deep south, there's this phrase, a funny but a rather vulgar one, that locals say whenever someone meddles with other people's business. It says "I'm fucking this pig, you should hold the ears."
