I have no other personal debt besides the student loan.

[Standard][RDW] Some critiques on the current FNM deck I'm running. by teruttin Magicdeckbuilding

[–]terutt[S] 0 points1 point ago

I'm already running 4 shocks?

I chose them over GB's because I'll be able to use them past October, that's it.

Nobles are on my "to buy" list. Ancient grudge is a great idea. Thanks! I'm also considering some Vandals.

Eggbeater. Eggbeater. Eggbeater. I shit you not, it is one of the best blogs out there, not only a cooking blog. Shuna Fish Lydon is a ballsy chef, and mirrors the straight dealing that a budding line cook needs. Her and linecook's words should be goddamn immortalized in a manual for aspiring chefs. Mandatory reading.

Yep. This is a CCW. I haven't looked into a holster yet, so I'm just carrying it in my pocket for now.

UBC 3rd Year CPSC Student Needed for Student Start Up Company Will Get Paid in Shares by bradydin UBC

Tell me you're a troll. This is the same thing parroted on both craigslist and Clients from Hell. We're not taking a risk at all. We're doing FREE WORK. IT/CS people are not entrepreneurs, we do not create a business, we provide a service. A service that must be paid for.

And the very fact that you have an idea that is "like x but different" makes anyone wary. Remember how Google+ was like Facebook but different? Yeah. And that was Google. Google can't pull that shit off.

Offer to pay the person who is doing the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of the technical work a fair fucking wage. We can't all be idea men like you.

Hohohehe... wow.

Rule number one of asking for IT help: Fuck you. Pay me.

Paid in shares is NOT good enough. No one worth their salt will give you the time of day. Why would you ask someone to sacrifice a period in their life where they could be making a meaningful (and in most cases with a CS degree, substanial) wage by pinning themselves to your dubious rising star? Wake up. We're not your personal code slaves.

Two! Those better have 10 round magazines filled with 9mm marshmallow tipped cartridges, or you're in deep shit.

I'm sorry. I didn't know the two rockets you fired during setup were so invaluable.

I'm looking to take the next step in the industry and travel abroad. Where should I go? by teruttin KitchenConfidential

[–]terutt[S] 0 points1 point ago

Could you be a little more specific? I understand the gist of what you're getting at, but I think I'll get enough time to learn some business when I reach sous or CdC.

(I don't really think trying to learn at a nice place is a personal vanity project. If I was in love with my own image, I wouldn't be a line cook.)

Four. I started working the line two years ago, and I've plan to stay for two years more before going abroad.
