i wasnt aware of the history of this card.

building my ultimate epic u/g selfmill/dredge deck i came across this card and it is very nice to run exactly 1 in this deck. sadly it costs 7.50 on the site i usually buy my cards (so i said fuck it its to expensive)

the deck basically gets as many creatures into the gy as possible and then smashes face with 1X/1X creatures that have evasion like trample or flying.

the skaab ruinator is actually anti - synergetic since it removes 3 creatures from the gy, but its great because its a cheap 5/6 flier thats always in my gy and that i can cast from my gy (and late in the game id rather have another creature on the field instead of 3 in the gy) but it can actually also cause you to lose the game, if you "ruin"... your plan by using it to much you wont be left with creatures.

the deck i run (standard and "casual")

its something like this (i have many variation of it and am still testing):

4 splinterfright 4 boneyard wurm 3 ghoul tree 1 kessig cage breaker 1 skaab ruinator

3 golgari grave troll 2 wonder 1 narcomoeba

2 deranged assistant 4 merfolk looters 3 hermit druid 4 wood sage 2 armored skaab

4 trackers instinct 4 dream twist 3 gnaw to the bones 3 artful dodge

this build could probably be changed to make a version with 4 skaab ruinators instead of the spinterfrights and the boneyardwurms..... seems like the only kind of deck this guy belong into
