You are reading too much into this, plus you said earlier that you wouldn't use religion to explain nature. I think you are missing the point entirely.

"directly related" (my words from my last post) does not make any indication of what all atheists should become or conclude. They are closely related subjects and hence relevant for discussion.

If this were a message board about law, and somebody posted pictures of 2 famous philosophers, you wouldn't say the post is all about philosophy and not law.

Yeah but most people throughout history did. And it's not about the scientist, both these guys could've been devout Zoroastrians--their scientific work is what validates their message.
