Memorial Day will be tough if you don't have reservations already. I drove around for 14 hours a few years ago. Here is my tip: Look for DNR land. You don't need reservations or a permit to camp on it. I found an awesome place right on a river. I'll try to remember where it was.

Yeah, it it really good. It is about a man named Shin Dong-hyuk who was born and raised inside of a political labor camp. He is believed to be the first person ever who was born in such a camp to escape. The things he went through and witnessed are horrifying, and it is hard to believe he survived.

It is a pretty short and quick read. I finished it in a day.

She'll do ok. Just don't try to get too close to the stage. Hang back a bit and she should be able to see fine. My ex and I went to a lot of shows, and she was 5'0". I'd usually stand right behind her looking over her head. For some reason this helped (and I knew that if I couldn't see, she couldn't see either).

My kindle has helped me. Whenever I come across a word I don't know, I look it up in the kindle dictionary and then highlight it. Every few weeks I go back and review my highlights to study the words.

I did this with a moleskin notebook. Worked great because it has an elastic strap to secure the cover. I used Velcro instead of magnets.
