10 Things Every College Grad Should Know before Entering the Real World by jshurein personalfinance

Oh, it definitely keeps me loyal, and as someone who always pays the full amount off every month, the interest rate could be 12000% and it would not phase me in the least.

None, its great. Usually every 3-4 months, we'll have about $700-900 in Chase rewards that we'll either take in cash to invest (contribute to our Roth IRA) or use it for a vacation because why the heck not. June 4-8 we'll be in Vegas at the Aria, both flights and hotel entirely paid in Chase rewards. Its gloooorious.

And here is another pie chart. by minuswhalein funny

Agreed. I have my CC set to autopay the full balance every month by auto-drafting out of my checking account, and my checking account balance is always more than my CC limit, so I use my CC basically like a debit card, except that I get to accrue points and rewards and the like for doing so. Free moneeeeeeey, yay Chase Freedom card.

Thanks vidyagames! I appreciate it. I actually did a big AMA a few months ago under another a more relevant name that somehow got me featured in the LA Times and Forbes Magazine, was the craziest thing ever. Reddit has been good to me.

Well, we were certainly blessed to be in a place financially that we were able to do the "dream wedding" thing and not have to go into hock because of it, although I can definitely say divorce and doing it all over again would be absolutely horrible from a fiscal point of view. Among many other reasons why it would be an unfortunate thing. I plan on keepin' the both of them for a long, long time.

I'm the same way, my ring is 59 bucks from James Avery. I knew I was going to scratch it to hell, maybe lose it on a mountain somewhere (Mordor?), so to save my sanity, I wanted something very replaceable, should the worst happen.

I had a pretty good year work wise, and figured it a thoughtful investment when engagement time was coming up, most of our money now goes towards our pups, and we feel this is as it should be.

It was definitely not 35k, that's for sure, it was in the 20-25k range.

Ha...I wish it was a CZ, I wouldn't have had to give that favorite kidney of mine up to pay for it. I miss Lefty, we...we had some times together, that guy and I.

I was under the assumption that my title, suggesting they haven't been cleaned in 30 years, would give one the impression that odor would be involved...

That's great! Too bad that's not what these guys did, because it smelled like they were walking around with rotting raccoon carcasses stuffed in their hair.

You also said I need to read up on the subject and I know nothing about it...so you're saying because other people are often ignorant, that must extend to me as well just 'cuz. The odor was palpable the moment you got within 15 feet.

I stood next to them, trust me, "Knotty Boy" and the line of speciality minty soaps and waxes were not used here. Just because a product exist, does not mean people with dreadlocks are currently using them. The smell was reminiscent of what I believe an old gym bag stuffed with ham and cumin would smell like.

Yes, I set up a camera on a timer, stuck it behind me, raced back to my original shot, so it could capture me. Your powers of deduction are exceptional. I can't allow you to waste them here when there are so many crimes going unsolved at this very moment. Go, go, for the good of the city.

As someone who stood next to these dreads, it smelled like I was next to an exhumed corpse doused in patchouli. But I'm glad your sense of smell works through your eyes via pictures, you have an incredible gift.
