I've just recently graduated with a BA in Math and I want to get a masters in the field. However, I'm currently tied to my job (high school teacher) and I believe that I won't easily be able to afford and to relocate to a school.

I'm also planning on taking the math subject GRE in April, how hard is that going to be?

I've moved into a new area and I believe that both of my neighbors are drug dealers. Any advice?

I'm renting a house and apparently the woman that lived here before me had a padlock on her door to keep people from stealing her pills. This area doesn't really look rough, but my neighbors often have a variety of cars stop at their houses and people go inside for a few minutes then leave.

Should I just let it go? Please comfort me, reddit.

First time teacher starting in Jan. My school hasn't done much to get me prepared. Any tips? Nervous out of my mind.

I will start on Jan. 2nd. I have yet to receive a book on the material I am teaching, see the room I am going to teach in or talk to anyone about the school rules.

Also, I'm moving in from a different state, so everything is totally different to me. I'm starting with three classes, all of which are year-long so I am coming in half way through.

High school, Algebra II. Any advice? I'm pretty nerve racked.

I'm going to start teaching in Jan. and I'm looking for places to leave in the area I'm moving to. It's a small coastal town in NC and I was wondering how much I should be aiming my rent to cost.

I can't really pinpoint how much I should be ready to pay in rent. Anyone have any pointers? How much should I be expected every week, after taxes? I don't believe that there is much of a local supplement, if any. Also, is the local supplement a common thing? I'm going into high school math, if that makes any difference.

I've read that if something travels faster than light, it actually goes backwards in time. If this is true, did we just (potentially) send the very first thing back in time?

I don't really understand why something would have to go back in time if it travels greater than c, other than it would mathematically satisfy our equations.

However, did we somehow send those neutrinos back in time (if they really did travel faster than light). If so, when did they go? How did they actually end up at the endpoint if they did go back in time?

My mind hurts with this.
