Hi. Thank you for your words of encouragement. My mother is my only remaining family member, we have never been very close and live 3000 miles apart. She wouldn't be a good one to discuss this type of thing with anyway. I was raised in a very German family that taught me not to display weakness or talk about my feelings. Which is where the difficulty of talking about this with friends comes in. I know I am an adult now and haven't lived at home for many, many years. But I still have it deeply ingrained in me not to bother others with my troubles.
