I like the unintentional foreshadowing to Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps. At the end when the group are all hugging out their issues, Jeff and Abed stand apart with Jeff asking why he and Abed are the only sane people in the group. Flash forward two years and Abed and (probably) Jeff are the only two who pass Britta's psychology test.

Yeah, but they didn't even try and make it work in the story. It was just, "Oh hey! I don't want to date you anymore!" At least we were given a good Jeff story out of it, but that's a discussion that can wait for the thread on "Basic Genealogy."

The entire montage of Abed and Jeff drinking is amazing, and a great way to knock out a series of references.

I'm a little annoyed that Jeff and Slater patch everything and seem so happy at the end only for Slater to break up with him a couple of episodes later for no reason that is given on screen.

I like the idea that TV show characters can pair up in many different ways. If the show had stayed focused on putting Jeff with Britta, it would have gotten boring (though I say that theoretically, who knows what Harmon and the rest of the writers could have done with them). Here was the very clear introduction of the many different couples the show would start exploring.

And I just absolutely love how petty and quick to hate Vaughn is. He is one man you do not want to cross.
