Even now when I've spoken to him about it, I still get the tables turned and have never once received any sort of apology because he feels like he's still in the right for the things he said/did to me.

I guess sometimes they don't even know what they're doing or saying is abuse.

I eventually just had to move out. He was an ex-boyfriend so it was much easier for me to just leave than it would be for you obviously.
