I won't buy peripherals from anyone else because of how awesome their support is. I have NEVER had an issue with getting something replaced, even if I didn't deserve it to be replaced.

I remember wearing down the contacts on one of their wireless mice. I had just taken it out of the charger and put it back in so many times the coating that was conductive wore off and it stopped charging.

The mouse was probably around 3 years old, but they gave me a new one and had me send that one back to learn from their mistakes. They are legit. So many more stories like that but I am starting to sound like a homer now.

Addiction is not a disease.

Addiction is a set of learned behaviors. Ask someone with cancer if addiction is a disease.

Regardless, incarceration is not the answer. Rehabilitation gives addicts a chance to break the cycle. Incarceration places them with like minded individuals with no help for the root cause of their punishment.

For-profit prisons tend to do that. Repeat offenders become repeat customers.

Also, requiring people to attend AA/NA meetings should be unconstitutional. They are 100% religious programs. Forcing someone into a religious program should not be allowed in the US court system. Opinion Piece

Your pseudoephedrine example is ridiculous. They could refuse to sell you anything and anytime legally. It would be more similar if you made it so after the person mentions meth, the police come in and remove the rest from the shelves and ban the store from selling it again.

I have been waiting to get Diablo 3... but I don't get paid again until next Thursday and just couldn't afford it. I have been refreshing /r/gaming and /r/diablo all night just to get a guest pass. Animals do not make emotional decisions. All decisions are based upon survival. The animal was not hungry, and had obviously scared off the attacker. There was no reason to expend more energy to 'prove a point.'
