Wow, man, I really appreciate you taking the time to write this. I think your ideas are really great. I have asked some of my former campers to make videos but it's been difficult getting them to actually do it. Maybe I should do it with interviews over Skype and record them to edit together a nice video.

I already have multiple week discounts but I don't think our costs are an issue. See, (to give you a little history) about five years ago my wife and I got pregnant and I began to focus on that. I was a stay-at-home dad which was amazing but because of my financial situation with the camp it became something I fell out of love with. I also went back to college to get a degree in music education (I'm a pianist) to give me some options for the future. So I continued to keep camp alive but I let my summer staff run it. My numbers were bad but the kids were still having fun. Then, last summer, I took over again. Parents made it clear to me that this camp was making a huge difference in their kids' lives. They appreciated that there was a place that their kids could feel comfortable in their own skin. It was clear to me that something special had evolved over the years and I fell in love with it again. I'm graduating this May and after last Monday's reaction to my post here I told my wife I want one year to get camp back. If I can do it; if I can get the numbers up I can make a living out of it. She was inspired too and said, "go for it."
I'll make it happen. I have a lot of support now. So, thank you for your message. It means a lot that you cared enough to take the time to make sure I got it. Keep an eye on us. This summer should be fine but in 2013 I expect us to really grow.
