Maker's Mark and Evan Williams single barrel are currently in my collection too! Also have some Henry McKenna, Buillet, and Buffalo Trace. The Evan Williams is probably my current favorite of the bunch though.

Lentil and Spinach Curry by Whit3yin spicy

[–]saltysweet 1 point2 points ago

I've had good luck before with a similar recipe that called for cooking the spinach until it fell apart and took on a silky consistency (about 20 minutes) - tasted just like the spinach in saag paneer I've gotten from Indian restaurants! Have never done it with red lentils but I have a ton chilling in my cabinet now so will be giving this a try!

Reputable Spice Company? by lsdjellyin recipes

I had a really good time at the Spice and Tea Exchange near me (DC) and looks like they have lots of locations. Talked to the owner at the one I went to and sounds like it's basically a franchise (so it's a local owner that you're supporting by shopping there but uniformly good quality spices from the company). They had a great selection, and I was very happy with all the spices I bought there. Going someplace in person, though it might be more difficult, is what I'd recommend - especially if they let you smell the spices. Best way to tell if a spice is fresh is if it's nicely fragrant.

Yoghurt Covered Raisins [Help!] by LittleRedBootsin recipes

I seem to remember seeing a recipe for frozen yogurt covered raisins a bit back... basic premise (if I recall correctly - can't find it now) was just dipping raisins in yogurt and then freezing them...

Best Chocolate Cake Ever - With a cup of coffee in the batter! by jafferwockyin recipes

I've long found that coffee really deepens the flavor of chocolate, especially in baked goods. Thanks for the link!

Moving in.. too soon? by blueberry1in relationship_tips

"He isn't an emotional person and while I know that he loves me, he won't say it." Not having exchanged "I love you" would be an indicator to me that you're not ready to live together.

That said, if you still want to feel it out a bit, I think your best strategy might be bringing up that your lease is up and you're trying to decide if you want to renew it or find a new place (not saying anything about moving in together). Mention that you're considering getting a roommate to save money. See if the thought of you two moving in together even seems to cross his mind.

My wife's latest cake. A tribute to a legend, for a friend's birthday. by raydoublein Baking

Looks really good (and I bet it's tasty too)! What is the image drawn with? The white is clearly fondant; is the black a thin layer of fondant on top of that or something else?
