I had leaned towards the same thought until I read Jamziz's comment. Paris may truely be a better pilot, but then the question is which one has been able to come up with a maneuver that was ACTUALLY taught at Star Fleet? With everything Paris did during his tenure in the Delta quadrant, never heard about him coming up with any crazy stunt driving.

Yeah I've heard that, but it didn't seem to be the case at this event. The leader was sure to keep an eye on the group and ensure they were all in one lane so that traffic could flow past us. The only issue with blocked traffic was where they would cork side streets so the whole group could pass, but we didn't even take up a 1/4 mile so traffic was never blocked for long.

Yeah, I think with as large a group like we were last night, it's pretty safe. Never felt any threat from anyone, and even had some of the "hood" cheering for us as we went through.

edit: last night's ride was about 100 people or so. We had a lot of fun and tons of cheering from the folks in Ybor & on the UT campus.

thanks for the reply. I'm going to pick up a 305 for now because I found them refurb'd on ebay for $160. I'm glad to know that it seems to be accurate. Are you using the stroke count I assume since it's indoors and the GPS probably won't work as well?
