and where did i say this? it is obvious from my post that less molestation is better than more, and thats why most professions that deal with very young children prefer women over men.

I believe about 15-20% of parents charged are the mother, and like a lot of similar crimes I would expect those numbers to be skewed somewhat given the whole "nice" thing.

unless the numbers are so skewed to make data collection meaningless, it still proves that men are more likely to sexually abuse children than women, making concerns about men working with very young children not entirely unwarranted.

the concern is more pedophilia, not child abuse.

child abuse, while bad, is no where near as evil as pedophilia. and women commit more child abuse because they are in contact with children much more than men, making it a statistical inevitability and thus stupid to use to try and say that a woman is more likely to abuse a child than a man.

child abuse isnt always pedophilia (most of the time it isnt). it is just that when it comes to child abuse, men are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more likely to commit pedophilia than women. so i say that while it isnt always right to think a male teaching kids is a pedo, it is disingenuous to say that parents who are concerned arent falling back on falsehoods.
