People who intentionally park like a douche-nozzle should burn with the heat of a thousand suns.

I'm happy to just have seven Mondo posters. I'd have about twenty were it not for the ebayers buying them with scripts.

What is the most surprising thing you've learnt about yourself from you childhood, when you were drunk, etc.? by Jibjumperin AskReddit

[–]ronearc 2 points3 points ago

As a six year old, having just been slammed against a chair by my six year old cousin (making my head bleed) - I learned that we should probably have waited until we were older before we got drunk.

Sorry, that's the only story I have about being drunk in my childhood...

Family called it "Special Ramen." My sister taught me how to make it. Easy meal for a college student. by KrimCardin Cooking

Hah, I used to cook up a package of the ramen chicken flavor, drain the liquid off to drink as a broth.

Then I would take the noodles, mix in a can of tuna packed in spring water, add some mayo and a slice of american cheese, microwave, stir, and have a cheap Tuna Noodle Casserole.

He's French. He's got 8, maybe 9 times the fashion sense concern of the typical American.

FTFY.

What is the best insult you have ever used or heard? by ROBthemanagainin AskReddit

Friend's ex-girlfriend was a complete bitch. Every time we passed her, she'd start talking shit. She was kind of a big girl. So one time when she started in with her shit talk I told her to fuck off. She yelled back, "Kiss my ass."

I yelled back, "It'd take a week!"

Hilarity ensued...

Trace amounts of Uranium, Thorium and other naturally occurring, mildly radioactive particles are found in granite. They're harmless.

You can Google a reliable source I'm sure, but granite is something like 1,000 becquerel per kg.

An elephant stepped on my foot when I was a child causing me to lose feeling in three of my toes which is why I drive without a shoe on my right foot. I understand you, and that's fine that you think that. It really is subjective. If you had asked me, long before I met my wife, to describe the appearance and physical attributes of my ideal woman...

I would have said that she is on the shorter side, under 5' 4". She has red hair that's either short and straight or longer and has thick curls. She has very pale skin with a few freckles (but not out of control freckles). She's slender with nice legs, nice hips, and breasts that are a bit large for her frame.

So...yes, I think she's absolutely gorgeous.

Despite the contradiction, I'll happily admit that a lack of humility is one of my shortcomings.

In all honesty, I have just never seen the point to it. I don't typically volunteer boastful information in a forum or discussion where it's not relevant. And if it is relevant, then it seems most prudent to just be straightforward and honest with the information I do provide.

The most important thing you should take away from my posts is that we were just friends for over a year.

During that year, I demonstrated frequently that I was intelligent, reasonable, extremely skilled at playing my class, a competent raid leader, praised others when praise was due, treated people with respect (and utmost respect when they deserved it), and while remaining polite, didn't take shit off of anyone.

So before our friendship became anything more than just a friendship, she had a really good sense for who I was as a person, and the sum total of that equated to me being a person worth knowing.

I apologize if this is considered anecdotal. However, when I was a Reactor Operator in the Navy, one of the examples about misunderstanding radiation that was included in our training involved Green Peace.

After a new power plant had opened in California, a Green Peace office demanded that background radiation samples be taken at the borders of the plant to demonstrate that background radiation levels were unsafe and too high.

Once that had been completed, the NRC insisted upon doing the same sampling for background radiation in the Green Peace offices, which happened to be located in a granite building. Needless to say, the background radiation levels were remarkably higher in the Green Peace building than they were at the perimeter of the power plant.

On the contrary, not only is nothing wrong with her, but she's Canadian, so she's really polite (when she's not in the act of demonstrating her redheaded temper).

My favorite thing about Bob Dylan songs? Being able to sing along boisterously without feeling like I'm "ruining" the song with my lousy singing.
