What do think police do? Solve crimes maybe? That is the biggest joke. Don't believe TV shows about the police or detectives....they are as useless as tits on a bull. What the police actually do is raise revenue for the city by writing tickets for traffic violations, J-walking and generally shaking down tax paying citizens. They are just looking to make-it to retirement day without getting shot. So going after gang-bangers is far from their agenda even if it would take minimal effort to follow up on leads that would solve the crime.

True...but you could also say that Radiohead are as popular now because of the incredible amount of marketing money and tour support money paid by EMI. Radiohead had to pay back this money to EMI through their royalties from sales. You might never have known about Radiohead if it wasnt for their label acting like a bank for them. There are sooooo many amazing bands that are as good or better than Radiohead that will struggle in with their career because they cant get signed to a good record label and they cant put out their own music and make a living because people dont feel they should pay for music anymore.

How pigs and cows are shot full of hormones and antibiotics, fed genetically modified corn and other garbage then we stuff them in cages so they can't move. Then we eat these sick animals. I think people in the future will realize that this is a very stupid and unhealthy practice and animals to be consumed for their tasty parts will be raised properly.

would it be more effective to be able to flood the network that processes mastercard transactions so that people's mastercards dont work while they are buying Christmas presents? Then they have to use another means of payment and deny Mastercard revenue and damage their reputation?

That's just the way it is, discrimination exists even today. When my Grandfather came to the USA from Sicily he had to change his name from Sebastiano Bruno to James Brown just be be able to get a job. Nobody would hire Italians back then. So maybe the Muslims should change their name if they know there is discrimination, it might help them find a job.

What is the policy at the Canadian and Mexican border entering the USA? Do they put every person driving or walking into the USA through back scatter X-Ray or full body search? I can't imagine they would have time to do that. If you were a terrorist, couldnt you fly into Mexico City get a fake passport and then walk or drive into the USA? It really doesnt seem like these airport security measures are really for passenger safety....at all.

I heard you have the right to protest in the United States. Is that still true? Maybe if enough people gathered at airports you could cost the airports and the airlines money and they would get the other corporations that run your country to remove the power the TSA has. I mean really, how far does it need to go and where does it stop? This kind of power in the hands of your government, you are not really living in a free country....organize and do something about it. It isnt even a matter of Bush or Obama anymore, they are just the puppets behind big business. Get off your ass.

I live lived in France for 10 years and the French workers are basically children that expect the government to hold their hand and take care of them their entire life. They do not take work or careers seriously but they do take their quality of life seriously....and it is one of the best in the world. They realized a long time ago what many people are just realizing now...that work and material possessions won't make you happy, but time with your friends and family and good food have a better chance at bringing you happiness.

When people have their dogs off the leash (it is always people with larger dogs known for biting) and the dog charges me, barking and remotely acting like it is attacking me....and this has happened quite a few times...I kick the dog right in the face....and continue to kick the dog if it comes back for more....dogs can be very dangerous animals and I don't take it lightly when they come after me...there is a reason for leash laws. Also if the owner of the dog gives me any grief about hurting his dog, I let them know it is entirely the owners fault and they should prevent their dog from behaving that way.

yes..I am. I have seen many times these riot police in Paris. Coming from the United States where I have seen first hand real attacks by the police against peaceful protests...you are lucky in France to have these guys act the way they do. The looked like they really tried to do their job and at the same time not hurt anyone. These women were incredibly stupid to bring their babies into a situation like this. They are to blame.

yes..but if the illegal immigrants held a protest even in Arizona and then started assaulting the riot police, well you know what the outcome would be...a really bad beat down of everyone involved...the French police are very level headed.
