There is a difference between someone monitoring you and keeping the files on a personal machine/server and there is a difference between taking a picture to share it with a website that has millions of users.
If you don't see the difference in that, I'm sorry but you are an idiot.
By walking in to the library I agree to them taking a video of me for surveillance purpose only not to plaster it across websites. If ever the footage was leaked to the public and I was not committing any crime, I have the right to take legal action.
Also, if you want to make this political when it really isn't, go ahead, if I am minding my own business and not harassing anyone, there is no need to take a picture of me or anyone else without permission. If you really want to take a picture, don't be a bitch about it, just ask the person.

That's kind of a disturbing perspective to hold. To each his own... Just because I am in public doesn't mean I agreed to have my picture plastered on a website without my permission.
