Been there before, when i was dismissed it was a wake up call, it made me reflect on my future and what i wanted to do. The lifestyle i had at the time wasn't helping my dreams and goals. I got rid of everything i knew and felt was holding me back, talked to the dean of engineering, he thankfully readmitted me. that semester back I re taught myself how to learn, study, and find what was ideal for me.

Ever since I've been doing better, VP of our FSAE team, part of the engineering student council, and landed a job at the schools fab shop, and slowly but surely my GPA is going up. I used to be like you being a good student with little to no effort in high school, it took me learning how to study and learn to be successful.

My advice, look within yourself, figure out why you want to study engineering, you need to find your motivator. also plan alternatives as a precaution. my football coach used to say: "always compete and go for the win, the day you give up you might as well die"
