A friend of mine's company health plan doesn't cover the annual OBGYN visit because there is no "male equivalent" of that exam. Is this common? Is it legal? Seems unfair/strange to me...

I usually just eat it with salt and pepper and choke it down. It's also not bad with a slice of tomato or pineapple. Try eating it as a side with something else, that way you're not focusing on just eating one big bowl of cottage cheese. Unfortunately, I haven't heard any other great alternatives.
