Need some help with creating some quest notices... by radduein rpg

[–]raddue[S] 0 points1 point ago

Never mind, I manned up, found some large scrolls images on GIS and imported them into Paint.NET to add some text.

I can't believe I didn't think of this before, I must be having a Monday on a Friday.

No, though I don't know why you're getting downvoted -- it's a legitimate question.

I wish my company would have good like this. I'm lucky to see a plate with some ranch and broccoli on it; usually it's cake, soda, cookies and chips at my work seminars or luncheons.

This is one of the many reasons I usually just fast through lunch.

I think 4th is the best edition so far and having played the first first public play test for 5th I'm not looking forward to the switch.

[Food Porn] Blue cheese and spinach stuffed chicken with bacon seared baked brussel sprouts by radduein keto

I've used that sprout recipe to turn people onto them who told me they'd hated them before. Turns out nearly everyone who says that had parents who would boil the shit out of them, turning them into a nasty tasteless paste.

Brussel sprouts are delicious! Good luck!

I made the sprouts and my fiancee made the chicken. I asked her how she made it and this was the response:

"Uh... I sliced it open and sauted it in butter and wine. Then stuffed it with sour cream, blue cheese, and sauteed spinach and baked."

I would press her more but she works nights at a hospital so her time is limited. I know she made the spinach, sour cream and blue cheese sauce in a bowl before adding it to the chicken. She sauteed it in a butter and wine mix on the stove over what I assume to be medium-low heat. Before being cooked through you cut it open, jam it full of the Goodness Sauce (tm) and then bake it in the oven at a lower temperature (probably 350 - 375ish ?) for 10 to 15 minutes.

I wish I could tell you more but that's what I can figure from the limited amount of stuff that I saw her do and what she told me.

Good luck! It's delicious. :D

Sprouts:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut up a bunch of bacon (eyeball it, but lean to the TOO MUCH side) into pieces and cook in a cast iron skillet. Note: You want to get them sort of cooked, but not crispy, you'll do that in the oven.
  3. Cut the hard knob off of the end of the sprouts and then cut in half-length wise.
  4. When the bacon is done cooking, remove with a slotted spoon and keep the bacon fat. Turn the heat on the stove up to medium-highish because you're going to sear the hell out of the flat side of the sprouts. Sear 'em good for just 30 or 40 seconds, maybe a minute if you like it that much.
  5. Toss the entire skillet into the oven for about five minutes, then put the bacon pieces back into the skillet and let cook for another 10 to 15 minutes. You'll know they're done when the sprouts have turned an amazingly vibrant green color and the bacon is crispy.
  6. Remove from oven, let cool for three to four minutes and then hit lightly with salt and lime juice. Hit it liberally with Sriracha.
  7. Eat.

These sprouts are good enough that I've actually had an entire plate of them for a meal on more then one occasion and I didn't regret a thing either time. The sprouts absorb the bacon grease and they have their own amazing woody smell and flavor. I really don't like it when people dig on sprouts because they're so tasty as long as you don't boil the hell out of them.

Chicken:

  1. Coming when I get to work.

I have been playing the Witcher games and reading the books, I wonder what a Witcher race would look like in 4E.
