I really hate to say this, and I know this sounds totally and ridiculously misogynistic, but I always thought there was a sort of "nobility" that a man had for enduring the slap of a woman. (Not opinion, just perception.) I'm talking about, back in the day, before anyone questioned "hit-for-hit", but to be slapped by a woman was A.) acceptable because no real man would ever admit that shit hurt but would still "take it a like a man", B.) very definite roles between men and women, which allowed men to get away with a TON of bullshit, including assuming the role of dominance, forcing a woman to be submissive, also allowed for a trade-off of allowances, (ie, being slapped by a woman was okay) A slap from a woman was looked at like it's a slap from your mother, you straight up crossed some god damn lines and you're not doing your job as a man. "Straighten the fuck up."

And obviously, women want the same rights as men, that doesn't mean they are the same as men. Even if all rights are the same, they are treated the most blatantly unequal of all minorities, we still retain a masculine culture in almost every country in the world. But really, I don't think any woman deserves to get her ass beat by any man unless that woman is literally the same size and strength or you're in very real danger.

I'm not saying slapping anyone should be accepted based on gender, but you better believe a man cheats on me, or inappropriately fondles me, or something of the like, I'm gonna slap a motha fucker.

Irrelevant opinion ; I understand some women want to be on the front lines of war, etc etc, but just because she wants to be a dude doesn't mean I do. I'd like to still be treated as if I am so, given equal rights but with the strengths of a woman, not the strengths of a man.
