I suppose but the problem is, and part of the reason for the break up, is that we're now 2,200 miles apart.

The breakup was fairly (somewhat liberal use of the word) amicable, there weren't exactly bad things said or done, the relationship just wouldn't have worked. But, I've been wrong before, and you could be right.
