Steel Diver is $8.75 on Amazon. I've never played it before, should I get it considering the bargain price?

I bought it for 4.99 a while back, and I really did not enjoy it at all. I just found very little "fun" to be had in this game, frankly. Although, for the same price, I bought Pilotwings Resort, and I loved the shit out of that game.

How was your experience as a guest star on Chuck? Anything notable or memorable, aside from the fact that you got to be on network TV? I remember when that episode aired, I froke out and had to explain to everybody else watching who you were and how awesome it was seeing you on TV.

It's sort of right. I believe it's based on the number of game saves you have on your memory card. I remember noticing this once because I turned it on with no memory cards inserted and all the towers were gone. Not sure about the exact science behind this, but there is indeed something.

Yes, the game is not going to run in 3d, unfortunately, and the features you listed would indeed be cool (but I get the feeling they are saving them for the next release in the series).

I do know for sure that the 3DS is getting an app that lets you capture Pokemon using the AR scanner (sort of like FaceRaiders) and anything you catch in the game can be sent over to Black/White 2. Seen here

And I seem to remember some sort of other features in the game for 3DS users being suggested/announced at some point, but I can not for the life of me find anything about them, so maybe I am misremembering things. Still, the 3DS apps are meant to communicate with Black and White 2, so I figure lots of people will be playing on 3DS for that reason.
