Whenever there's "breaking news," FOX affiliates cut to a FOX News feed. The intent was probably to stop that, but it sounds like it might go further.

Remember, you don't need a license to be on Cable.

With GM in particular, I think they rushed the Volt to production. I know a decent amount of research went into the estimate for the life of the batteries, but the lack of a large-scale test just gives me some doubts. It's like buying a first-generation Apple product. I'm sure it "works," but let them work the bugs out, first.

It's because methods and member variables have to belong to a class. "print(x);" won't work unless print becomes a method in Object, but that's broken. "out.print(x);" won't work for a similar reason.
