I actually think the deck is capable of 9-0 as is. I made mistakes in the games I lost. I sideboarded incorrectly vs ub mill, and didn't have any preparation vs bw tokens.

I'd definitely look at black sun's zenith / ratchet bomb for sideboard. I agree with Rycerx as far as taking out woodland cemetary and putting in despise. I played mono black infect at the Baltimore GP and did well, so it can definitely still win.

great point about the deck list and card count. Have dividers for your deck box, different sleeves for any tokens, and always count cards to make sure you didn't miss one. I just did piles of 20 before shuffling.

Great points. As an addendum to #2, have extra sleeves. Between rounds, look for bent corners and replace those sleeves. A game loss for having marked cards would be demoralizing.

I went 6-3 at baltimore with mono-black infect. I think it lines up pretty well with the meta, especially since noone even considers you with their sideboard. Plus, it's just fun to play.

He had Sorin out, and I had a hand of the Praetors and Phyrexian Crusader out. I was holding another crusader. He ultimated Sorin and took both guys. I hadn't ever run into Sorin, so I wasn't familiar with the wording. Sorin can't target crusader, since crusader is pro-white. Oh well, live and learn.

Some things that stick out are:

1: Getting my first win in the first round. That was awesome.

2: B/W Tokens was something I was completely unprepared for. The second B/W tokens match I should have called a judge. Stupid on my part.

3: People HATED that I ran grafdiggers cage mainboard.

I had a more similar list to yours when I started. I'd definitely try testing with flensermite. I equip him with lashwrithe all the time, and that swings games for me.
