This is my third (someone gave me a microstream and I bought a TLR-1 for my HD gun). I love the warranty and the fact that I live within 30 minutes of the factory for quick repairs if I ever (which I haven't) need them.

I would use gmail chat/google talk. Not only does it work on kindle, but when on a computer with a webcam, you can video chat with them (if their blackberry supports it).

Your disconnect lies in that, in your first problem, the sqrt of 25 is 5. that's where the 5 comes from. The object of problems like this is to find a square, and reduce the problem to its simplest form.

sqrt(75) = sqrt(25) * sqrt3 = 5 * sqrt 3

You can't easily find the sqrt of 3, so you leave it sqrt(3).

Think of this: sqrt(16) = sqrt(4) * sqrt(4) = 2 * 2 = 4
