Well - customer service was awesome and they got me back on online in a flash ... so ... I dunno if they read this /r/...

Anyway - i bought a month to see if I want to get back into it - I bought a year previously - even got's me so far as form a posse - only to be insulted for being an actual disabled veteran. Anyway...

...didn't want to put myself through that again...so I let the last few days petter out.

I served for years in Alaska while I was in the Army - and "soon" my "retirement" will come through... ...the plan is to drive up there and get some temporary lodgings while I deal with the VFW and DAV - who have expressly told me that they would help me in whatever way they could.

I really appreciate the replies - lots of great info.

I won't need a job as "soon" I will be "retired" from the military. I lived in Alaska for years while I was in the Army - even set a record of some sort for the coldest Airborne drop...

...thanks for the name drop on that valley - will look into it.

Been ten years for me - although eight of those was me living by a river in Egypt - aka - De Nile ... one year of being in a VA home - and one year on my own... ...yet supported by the VA - it has been a process - but with good news.

Today on my birthday - they are telling me everything is full steam ahead.
