Suddenly, Blatter starts to complain about the number of foreign players on teams (specifically, the teams in the semi final). Claims that the dominance of English clubs in the Champions League shows the need for quotas to limit the number of foreign players. Thankfully, the EU made it clear that such quotas would be illegal.

Also can't help but think that he had England in mind when they began to write up those Financial Fair Play regulations, which would see the old guard continue on their financial dominance with their gigantic 80000-seater stadiums. That way, they'd never have to endure the shock of seeing a previously-unsuccessful team from England challenge the established footballing giants on the continent.

His contract ends in June and he has been with us for the past 8 years. He's won every trophy he could with us. He's 34 years of age, which means that he probably won't be able to play day-in and day-out (we had to rest him a lot this season and spare him for our big games). At the start of the season, he said that his head and heart is in it, but that his legs don't carry him as much as they used to. His last kick for the club won us the most coveted award in club football, so now, I'm guessing that he wants to bow out on a high note and find a club where he can play in every game.

Carragher recently talked about that goal in an interview. He said that you can usually look back on footage of a goal and figure out what you did wrong (as a defender). In this case, he said that there was nothing he could have done about it. He also went on to say that he's only played against two strikers that can still hurt you, even if you make all of the right decisions. Henry and Drogba.

I reckon so. I love Zola, but Drogba brought the club to new heights. There were so many clutch moments from him throughout the years. We wouldn't even be celebrating the Champions League right now had he not powered that header into the back of the net with only 3 minutes to go. His last kick for the club won us our first Champions League title.

It's hard to see him leaving, even though it was expected. He's been a great player for us over the past 8 years, both on and off the pitch. Not only was he a clutch player for big games, he was also a team leader and a large character in the locker room. I can't even count how many times he stepped up to the plate and made a difference whenever we needed it the most. The fact that his last kick for Chelsea secured us our first ever Champions League title says a lot. The guy will always be remembered as a legend at Stamford Bridge.

Basically, the satire went over your head, and instead of just admitting it and moving on, you've chosen to stubbornly repeat yourself. The fact that I used the word "brave" should have made it as clear as day. Obviously, you're not a sharp guy, and you know what? That's OK. We weren't all born with the same utensils.
