I like the idea of this but i don't think its true. What about all the plagues that have wiped out millions? The number doesn't come back rigjt away.

I wouldn't say someone having a different viewpoint is instantly stupid. Naive or ignorant maybe. I just don't understand the hate, not what trees are about.

They think they're helping you. No reason to be upset at someone for a misguided attempt. It's very easy to just say "No thank you." and politely close the door.

I really hope you didn't slam the door in their face. Very un-entlike.

Every time in fallout... by MissSpineyin gaming

Actually I saw some behind the scenes thing that said they didn't put in ladders because they can't program the AI to handle it correctly (I'm sure they probably could but it must be too much work).

I believe it was something related to Fallout NV but I assume it's the same for Oblivion and Fallout 3 since they all use the same engine.

Who among us is attending a midnight launch? by JustUZFin skyrim

Yeah small independent game stores are notorious for this. Probably because the large game companies won't bother actually suing because it would cost so much and they'd make so little even if the store did shut down.

Along the same lines anytime someone finds out I'm from Western New York they always ask "Oh what's it like in New York City?". Believe me, the girls/culture/everything is way different on each side of the state.

You lucky fools. I have to WORK the midnight release of it, and by work I mean at GameStop, selling the game. Won't get home until 2am...

Won't happen if it's GameStop. Anyone involved would be fired instantly and I doubt any of them would risk the job.

Everyone realizes this was entirely to make the shot "more dramatic" right? Of course he wouldn't do it again, but something in your face, gets put down, lone savior behind him shot is in just about every action movie.

Episode Discussion: S02E02, "Bloodletting" (Spoilers) by edifyin thewalkingdead

[–]ohnostereo 3 points4 points ago

I'm actually surprised with how much they've gotten away with already. Gutting the zombie in the last one and the one chick stabbing him through the eye were pretty brutal. Not to mention Rick shooting the little girl in the beginning, the implied zombie baby food, the half rotted corpse from the pilot. There's been more graphic violence in this series than in any other tv show.

‘The Walking Dead’ Premiere Shatters Cable Demo Ratings Records, Draws 7.3 Million Total Viewers by techieguy1983in entertainment

I thought it was ...okay. Those complaining about it not sticking to the comics completely need to get over it. It's a different format, different pacing. No comic book adaptation or just book adaptation stays right on par with the book and that's how it always will be.

The writing isn't great sure, especially after following Breaking Bad from last week. The writing in the comic was always shit anyway though, and I get why. You have to cram these "deep" conversations into short little blurbs above the characters head so everything feels really forced anyway in the comic. (And count how many times any character says "that makes sense" in the comic. At least once almost every issue for at least the first 75.)

The acting is really shitty.

I think the only reason it's getting it's good ratings is the same reason the comic took off. It fills a niche that hasn't been filled yet. It's the first "realistic" zombie tv show and comic that focused more on characters and human emotion, albeit doing it badly.
