There was an interesting interview of Sam Harris on Vimeo not long ago where he was talking about this as well and I'd say that the describes it quite fittingly (as he pretty much always does). There is a kind of connection between LSD and meditation, it's still very different though.

Meditation is much more calm and with a goal, on LSD basically anything can happen. You can get used to it and kind of steer your trips and if you're willing and able to let go of yourself you can experience levels of complete self-loss, but they are really very different.

I've been using meditation to fall asleep ever since I noticed how easy it is to actually fall asleep when trying to meditate. Best method ever, works every time within minutes and even lets me continue to sleep within seconds if I wake up during the night or something.

Wtf is wrong with people? I never understood "fandom" and even less if we're talking about people on the internet doing let's plays. Seriously, what the fuck man? I've already been wondering how come Etho didn't put out a new video yesterday evening and I'm suspecting, that he'll have something to say about this.

I really enjoy his videos and I'm so glad he puts them out at the rate he does. Seeing that people tick him off really annoys the shit out of me. /rant

It hits really close to home because I got it as one of my birthday gifts from my parents and the topics in this game are beyond any other Nintendo game I know. It covers suicide, child slavery, self-sacrifice, abandonment and so many other adult topics. Really opened my eyes to another dimension as a child.

*Edit: I forgot to mentioned the amazing soundtrack! Here's one really cool track this game has some really intense tracks and it's the only SNES game I know that uses a kettledrum :P

Did some testing regarding cocoa plants. They don't appear to spawn on newly planted jungle trees (not even the big ones), but you can just right click a jungle tree with cocoa beans and it'll attach right to it.

They also appear to grow at any light level.

When fully grown (orange/brown-colored) one can harvest them by punching them and that'll yield around 2-3 cocoa beans (maybe 1-4 as well). Punching them in any other stage will only yield one cocoa bean.

From my short trip to the Nether it appears like the lag is gone.

There are still dark spots ever so often, but they didn't appear as often in the terrains I checked (mostly flat areas)

Grass not being centered on the block?

I did a few tests with Silk Touch.

Ice can be harvested now, but it won't melt in the Nether.

Glass panes can also be harvested now

And mycelium as well as bookshelves (these might have already been harvestable before though)

Double slabs cannot be harvested, they just drop 2 slabs.

Oh, and cocoa beans look different now as well.

Edit: Cobwebs can't be harvested with Silk Touch.

Make sure to read redstonehelpers' post. You need to copy the "minecraft_server.jar" into a server-folder inside your .minecraft-folder. You'll have to first create that folder though.

Here's a map with large biomes turned on

Did something change about village generation? There's 4 on this map alone and all of them are in the deserts. I was also able to spot 3 wells by just flying around (here are two by one of the villages).

Another thing that's new to me is this huge desert mountain.

I really like Etho's voice but I've come to really appreciate Pause's voice as well. Guude and B00 are both really nice as well and from the last few episodes it appears like I like Zisteau's voice as well now (didn't really like it at first when I heard it quite some time ago).
