How does a God who supposedly owns the patent on morality, justify designing creatures that need to eat each other (often alive) for survival?

showing us this "bad" is a great lesson for everyone in what is bad as long as you are not the person or animal that is experiencing the "bad." The lesson is lost among them.most notably newborns
