Really? Who do you think funded the big bailouts that prevented the entities selling these properties from default? --> YA, TAXPAYERS already bought these properties. The government should "loan" these properties to the homeless/poor by a program similar to The Homestead Act of 1862. Problems solved: 1. Vacant homes become owned by hardworking, needy Americans 2. Hardworking, needy Americans given wide-spread alternative to never-ending rent payments to rich fucks
